PhD in Economics and Business Sciences (2000) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), with a European mention and doctorate award. She was a temporary Assistant Professor (1991 to 1998) in the Faculty of Economics and Business of Albacete (University of Castilla-La Mancha) and since 1998 she has been in the Social Sciences Faculty of Cuenca (University of Castilla-La Mancha). She’s senior Associate Professor at the Business Administration Department since 2000 and currently has the honor to be the head of the research group ENSITMA (Environmental Strategy Interdisciplinary Team & Management), among other responsibilities.

As a researcher, her main areas of research interest concern environmental management, entrepreneurship, innovation and tourism. She is author of several books and articles on these areas, and serve as a reviewer and associated editor of several international journals in the Business Area.
