Juan-Francisco Martínez-Cerdá

BSc in Mathematics (University of Valencia), Master in Teaching of Secondary Education (University of Murcia), Master in ICT Management (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), and Master in Information and Knowledge Society (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). In addition, other postgraduate diplomas: Models and Optimization in Networks (University of Castilla-La Mancha), Data Mining (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), System Dynamics (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), Advanced System Dynamics (La Salle – Ramon Llull University), and Market Research (Polytechnic University of Madrid).

He is completing his PhD studies at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He worked as a postgraduate researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) for four years. Previously, he worked as a Head of Studies at the Observatory on Information Society (Government of Catalonia) for two years, after more than ten years as an expert consultant in Information Society at several companies related to ICT industrial sector.

He has developed and managed many European, National, and Regional research, and consulting and marketing research projects and studies. Specifically, he maintains close ties with Interdisciplinary Research Group on ICTs (i2TIC) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya since 2009.
